Guest guest
Kim, I can't answer the part about the clumping. HOWEVER, did your doctor prescribe a complete adult dose of 17g??? (one capful). That seems awfully high, although I have no idea how much is in one " bag " for his pump. I was told that children should be getting 1/2 capful (8.5mg) once a day; and then you might be able to move the child to every other day if there is any significant improvement.... On a separate note, I have been on Miralax myself..... but I began drinking green tea each morning, and literally 20 minutes after I drink it, I run for the bathroom. I hate to be gross, but is this normal? It is caffeinated tea, haven't seen whether decaf has the same effect... The GI doc says that Miralax is a gut healer, and not just a laxative -- so the benefits of Miralax obviously outweigh the green tea.... but one less med would be kind of good. \Jenn > > Thanks to all those who responded to me about giving Miralax through the g-tube.
