Hello When I went to a hospital meeting for DR Hess in Bowling Green, October 8, 2001, there was a woman there who was one of the first Hess patients. She was 14 years out. She looked great and praised the surgery. I am not certain how much weight she lost, well over 100 pounds. As I look at my quality of life now, it is rather stagnant. As I get older and heavier I am unable to do more and more. The job I have held for 23 years is almost impossible for me to do now. I try to diet, lose and regain, the story of my life. I know the surgery will improve my quality of life, and feel the weight loss will add years on to my life. Polly (first consult this week, I am so excited)!
