Wow! eight pokes. You are the winner I think. I'm glad it's over and will be anxious to see all the tests tied together and get some results from UWMC on Thurs. Leaving here on the 15th.

I'm so sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.....

I've waited two days now and doc still has not called. I've called him once each day, requesting he call....phooey on him.

SherThe reference you refer to is your PaO2 or partial pressure ofoxygenation. Normal is 75-100 mmHg, although it does vary some by lab.There are other measurements often taken in ABG's as well. It is used tomeasure carbon dioxide, pH, oxygen saturation and bicarbonite. Best waituntil the doctor can interpret the full results and discuss with you. Wewould expect any of us to have abnormal results.I went through similar to you the only time I had an ABG and it took 8misses before they got an artery. Now, mine was suppose to be underexertion and by that time I was fully rested so basically it wasn't ofany real benefit. In addition my doctor didn't trust the reading.
