Guest guest
Haven't been here in ages. I just had my 6 month post-op check-up with Dr. Gagner. All my blood was perfect except for my glucose, it was a little low, so now I have to suck on some candy between meals. I have lost 113 lbs and my BMI has gone from 54 to 34 in 6 months. I am ecstatic and so was Gagner. Take care everyone! Jill K in NY
Guest guest
Hi Jill, That is such awesome news. You are doing fabulously. I am seeing Dr. Gagner on Wed. and am a little bit nervous. I haven't lost that much since the second procedure and I am not sure as to why. Will question him and Liz about this. I have to admit I do have some carbs but not that many or that much. I wonder if that is stopping my weight loss. Have you done any more research about plastic surgery? I don't know what I am going to do but one thing is for sure I am definitely going to need it. My arms are sagging as well as my tummy and thighs. Yuck...Just not sure if I want to deal with the pain that I have heard about. Then someone just recommended talking to Jill (someone at the meetings that I haaven't gone to) because she has gone through a lot of them and has had minimal discomfort. From what I have read I don't think Dr. Chun is the one for me. Please keep in touch. Hope you and your family and friends are doing well.
