Guest guest
-Thank you so much for posting this. I have decided that even though my pediatrician didn't think Isaac's last weight check was good I did because he gained SOMETHING. My husband got really depressed today when I told him that Isaac weighs 13.2 oz and will be 1 year old on the 19th. I told him that it isn't the number that matters..just as long as he is doing well. His pediatrician discussed his " slowed growth velocity " at our 9 month visit and I cried all the way home..I can't do it anymore over the last 12 months it has been so difficult for me because I was so concerned about wieght and height to the point I was obsessing over it..I couldn't sleep..it was pretty much on my mind 24/7. Today the nutritionist told me that Isaac has grown an inch since October and I asked.. " Is that good? I don't know what " normal " is " . After thinking about it I realized that it was a stupid question because any growth is a positive. I agree with Jodie that we can only do what is within our " ability " to take care of our children..God made them the way they are for a purpose and who am I to question His plans? Hang in there..it will get better! Mimi mom to Isaac RSS, Hypothyroidism, almost 12 mos 13#2oz, 25 1/8 " > Hi Jodie, > > Try not to stress yourself out about 's weight.
