Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for your e-mails. I only got to see them today. If you got to read my last e-mail you will know why. How are you feeling? I also wanted to thank you for all your work on the guidebook, that is going to be a life saver for all of us. I know that you are an expert of ketones and lately they have been a big concern, especially since this illness. We went to see Dr. H. on Friday and she was great and saw Jonah right away. She let him go home even though he was spilling ketones because as he drank all day they went down. By last night they were negative, but today all day they have been moderate and I don't understand why since he has been drinking juice with added glucose and many carbs. I can't make him eat and drink every minute... Once he is really well, we will really have to watch those ketones since Dr. H. said that even if he is gaining, if he is spilling then he will most likely need a tube. Why would he be spilling if he is gaining? I am getting a bit confused!! It is hard with a 3 year old since you can't make them pee and eat constantly. He did at Dr. H's, but not at home. How is Lindsey? , Jonah's mom
