I can't find coconut milk that's legal. Was it Marilyn who gave directions to make it? I'd like to use it but don't know where to get it.michelle

Add good quality grass-fed cow butter to everything you can think of -- including soups and smoothies (unsalted, it makes them really creamy). Avocados and coconut oil are very good too. I add coconut oil to my tea and coffee (and smoothies) (in addition to coconut milk). In fact, a lot of times I use just coconut milk (no additional water) to make the tea (in a pan with loose leaves).

I also don't have enough good fats in my diet. I'm really strict on the SCD. I eat eggs or homemade yogurt for breakfast, leftover meat and veggies or broth or Lara Bar for lunch, and meat, fruit, and veggies for dinner. Simple. I'm a bit concerned about my low cholesterol and lack of fats in my diet. Any ideas?

Pam,You and my youngest son could be best pals. He is eight and weighs a whopping 59 pounds! ; ) Doesn't eat much, unless it is either sweet or pesto pizza! I get the last laugh in on him though, his breakfast (3/4 c yogurt with honey, 1 nut flour muffin, and 1 scrambled egg) gives him about 600+ mostly protein and fat calories -- Ha! Thanks Amelia! I was eating some chicken soup, and got right up and put butter in it! I must say it makes it even better. :)

I am not a big eater, so it's hard to think about eating eggs and yogurt for breakfast. Seems like a lot! But I'll figure out how. :)
