Guest guest
Thank you Dyane. I know those ribs can be painful. Guess you had to bear with it, especially being pregnant, you couldn't partake of something like Loracet Plus. We men don't understand what you ladies have to deal with at times. I will keep loving this little dog until I can get out again into the world. I may even miss my college class reunion this weekend. An odd thing: Yesterday in the doctor's waiting room, it came to pass that a girl I had attended college with and knew, had a retinal reattachment last Monday also and wasn't sure if she would be going to the reunion. What a coincidence. Dyane, I'll have to go back and read these missed posts. I hope you are doing well. And take good care of yourself too. Guest guest
Beverley Joy, Great to hear from you and I hope your new pulmonologist is still working out for you. I have had the luck of having very good doctors, and mostly that means knowledgeable and caring. My eye doctor I have known since her was in medical school, so we go back a long way. He did refer me to a retina specialist, whom I didn't know. Keep on living well, and I will always hope that the winds are blowing your way, but never too hard.:-D Jerry/Mississippi/54/IPF/dx April 05 > > > Subject: Coughing And Retinal Detachment > To: Breathe-Support > Date: Wednesday, October 7, 2009, 6:54 AM > > > > > > > > > > > > > Due to a retinal detachment, I have been missing you all. Guest guest
Sher, Thank you so very much. I hope you have settled in now in your new home. I had become so used to seeing your posts, and when I didn't, I missed you every day. What is the saying? You were conspicuous by your absence? Glad you are back also, and thank you for thinking of me. Guest guest
Jerry, What a coincidence meeting her for the same thing! Yeah I was so naive when I was that young, and stupid, no pain pills for me, instead they gave me " black beauties " so I could sleep. OMG I would take one and 5 minutes later boom dead to the world. Can't believe they gave me barbituates LOL Feel Better Dyane > > > > > > > > Due to a retinal detachment, I have been missing you all. Guest guest
Bettye, I am fine for coffee any time until about middle of next week, when I will head back for Coffeeville. My phone no is . Friday I will be walking some down on Washington. Call if you can meet me there at the coffee shop on Washington. I am glad you found this group so soon. I have only been a member for a few months and could have really benefitted early on. Yes, I know what you mean about being so physically fit, and then to find that the usual activities come much harder and then not so much at all. I used to ride those steep hills in the Military Park with my bicycle buddy. We once rode the park 4 times. Now walking is my exercise of choice. I look forward to meeting you. By the way, I am staying with friends here in Oak Park. I lived here for some 17 years and worked at IP. I have the very best friends and don't know where I would be without them. Life is still good. Take care and I look forward to meeting you. Guest guest
Oh I can HEAR the frustration & confusion in your 'voice' Beverley....this is such a hard part of having PF..all the changing opinions about what it IS or is NOT! Hang in there...try the new meds & see if they make a difference ...that's all you really can do.
