One thing that has consistently annoyed me about all the low fat/cholesterol craze stuff, even before I found SCD, is the emphasis on fake food. It has always made more sense to me that we should eat real food! Yes. Low fat cheeses typically have something added (not an ingredient, a processing aid!). Basically, ANY " low fat " food usually has starch or thickening of some kind to make up for the texture and mouth-feel of the fat they removed. So the whole " low fat eating craze " of the last 50 years has probably contributed tremendously to the upswing in gut issues. — Marilyn Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
