Guest guest
HI PEGGY, IN LOOKING AT THE PALMS OF YOUR HANDS, I NOTICED THAT THEY ARE A BLOTCHY RED. MY HANDS HAVE BEEN THIS WAY FOR YEARS. WHEN I ASKED THE DOCTOR WHAT IT WAS, HE SAID HE DIDN'T KNOW, BUT DID FIND IT INTERESTING. HAS YOUR DOCTOR SAID WHAT CAUSED YOUR PALMS TO TURN RED? Guest guest
Hi Ginny, I have ask every Dr. I have ever been to about my red hands, the closest thing I have gotten it's vascular. Some days they are very tender. But since I do nothing (which I resent highly) It is just a little mystery. The heel of it gets purple to. I looked it up on line -- red hands -- and it says drinking alcohol causes some people to have red hands.. not the case with me. They are not always red as the photo showes. Think I'll crack that big egg for breakfast this morning. yummers. Have a good one.Love & PrayersPeggy, IPF 2004 HI PEGGY, IN LOOKING AT THE PALMS OF YOUR HANDS, I NOTICED THAT THEY ARE A BLOTCHY RED. MY HANDS HAVE BEEN THIS WAY FOR YEARS. Guest guest
Hi Peggy, A woman in my office who also has RA as I do, has red hands and she was diagnosed with Raynaud's Phenomenon. Her hands also hurt unless covered by gloves when she is out in cold weather. There is no cure according to her. nne, 56, Fibrotic NSIP 10/09, Mixed Connective Tissue Disease 11/09 > > > HI PEGGY, IN LOOKING AT THE PALMS OF YOUR HANDS, I NOTICED THAT THEY ARE A BLOTCHY RED. I will get there someday. I need to master me first. Lol! That's why I said it would give us X days of breakfast veggies (they get some red meat with it) if I didn't steal some to toss in a savory smoothie. I have to be good to my fur kids. Guest guest
I wouldn't avoid yolks completely, especially on early stages of SCD, they are very very helpful for healing, and also a general great source nourishment. Especially, softer boiled yolks, even makes it easier to digest, and more healing, but don't ask me about salmonilla cause I just don't know why everybody's eating undercooked eggs and says it's ok, but now I'm doing it too Best A while back I read that it's harder to digest the egg yolks. It was somewhere on this site: http://www.helpforibs.com Is that true? My dog has been enjoying the extra yolks though. :-)michelle
Guest guest
Marilyn, I've seen you reference savory drinks in your emails. What do you put in them?
