Gobo,

wouldnt prescribe Flagyl? Our pcp wouldnt do it either so called

Welker and he got on the phone right away and called the pharmacy for us and

got the prescription filled! You dont take it long term.....you take it for

a short period of time like 2 weeks and then only occasionally when needed

like once a month.....and then take some acidophylis with bifidum and it

works great! At least it has for both Mike and I so far......the flagyl

wont kill ALL Of the bad bacteria but it will also leave the good in there.

It just gets rid of alot of it that is making you so miserable including the

terrible smells! It will also get rid of the pesky GAS!

For those of you with diarrhea that won't quit... you might try eating

something with carob (if you can tolerate it). My little brother almost

died as an infant because he was allergic to everything... and especially

all medications. Finally my mother found carob powder. Be it good or be it

bad... he lives and he's 36
