After a long battle trying to determine if Mathieu was suffering from Crohn's Inflammatory Bowel Disease, they discovered when they did immune levels again that his IgG and IgA were low, particularily the IgG was significantly low. We will be seeing an immunologist in May for the 3rd time since he was 5 months old....It has been a long going thing. I will keep you all posted. We have been dealing with alot of illness here with him, so hopefully they can figuyre out which Primary immune deficicency he has so they can start him on a treatment plan. I am keepng a coninual fever chart, (he fevers everday righ now, which is an increase from 20 out of 30 days he used to have) he has had two episodesof conjuctivitis in the past 2 months, very bad cases, and he now has a sinus infection. He has had three seriously high fevers since January, so I am glad we know where we are going to hopefully get help for him. They missed the diagnosis the first time because my breastmilk when the blood was taken at 12 months was masking the levels to look normal, and back then he really wasn't terribly ill because my antibodies helped him in fighting infections. Thanks for letting me hang here even though he didn't have RSS.
