Guest guest Posted May 13, 2010 Report Share Posted May 13, 2010 My food store had turkey on sale. I only paid 22$ for a 14lbs turkey! Normal price would be 70$.. So today I have carved it (is that the right word..) into several pieces. The turkey carcass is simmering in my stock pot along with 1 breast. I put one turkey leg in a chili marinade. Thats going to be a normal roasted turkey legI took of the skin of the wings. I am going to make turkey jello (very good!)The other breast and leg is now in small pieces. I am going to ground it and make turkeybread (meat loaf) Tomorrow I will have a large pot of turkey stock.With the breast I am going to make turkey egg bread (because I love chicken bread).So hopefully tomorrow evening I will have lots of food to put in the eat and fill up my freezer! :)Karianne19 year old with ASDOn scd since august 09www.scdandme.com Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
