Guest guest
Nan, I sub to that group so I shall see the email! You are BRAVE.....Dont worry I will let you know how you got roasted when you get back. Hell we will celebrate together because you know I will be sticking up for you on that list! *hugs* Lisbeth (who is wishing you a safe and speedy surgery and recovery) Leafynan@... wrote: I was wandering around and checked in at OSSG-- saw a post from a 2year out RNY-- Baron-- posting e-mail tndrmrcy (I think that is his contraction). Anyway, he is admitting to having switched to drink from food as his addiction of choice and has surfaced to get support. He was originally intending to come to CA for the DS (with Dr. A, I presume, from what his web site says) but started to wig out about the flight ( at 600 pounds, knew the toilets in planes were just not do-able... ) So he stayed in FLA and has lost all the excess weight, had three abdominal revisions for excess skin. So I was inspired to post back and say what I have said here ( and gotten some flack for) that we morbidly obese folks tend to have emotional issues that lead to us using food ( and sometimes other substances) to cope with feelings and stuff. I even went into the fact that I know I will not have the joys of the RNY to keep me out of " bad behaviors and bad food " post op-- I wrote several paragraphs. I expect I am going to roast for this over there! If you want in on the fun-- go take a peek-- that is if my post even makes it onto the freaking list! nAN E. Guest guest
Welll, it has been about 12 hours since I sent my long post over at OSSG. Guess what-- I have been censored. That message was not allowed (up to this point). I wonder if Ms Moderator will send it back to me? Nan.E
Guest guest
The process of " rejecting " a post is that it automatically returns to the sender as rejected post. There is an option of just " deleting " it. I would hope that isn't done. I've been on that list for a long time. But clearly the moderation is biased. I don't post there. , Seattle > Welll, it has been about 12 hours since I sent my long post over at > OSSG. Guess what-- I have been censored. That message was not > allowed (up to this point).
