Guest guest
I've posted this about 10 times and I'll bet I'll have to say it another 10 times. LOL The means by which a medication lasts a long time in your body is NOT always that it hangs around in your gut releasing it's potion. Nope.. modern medicine is smarter than that. They have medications that provide long lasting effects by the way that they are broken down by the liver. Meds that last 12 hours aren't usually hanging around in the non surgically modified gut for 12 hours. No way! Yes, some meds are coated so as to release more slowly in the gut. But this is not the most common way that they are made to last longer. Ask your surgeon about surgery. Ask your pharmacist about drug release issues. /Seattle > In a message dated 11/12/2001 3:11:37 PM Pacific Standard Time, > andem4@a... writes: > > > > I don't know a whole lot about this, but I do know I was told not to use > > time-released meds.
