Guest guest
Hmmm, tough decision. His cephalic index is good, and his plagio is borderline. I think you'll be fine either way. It just depends on how picky you are likely to be with his head. Let us know what you decide. -christine sydney, 3.5 yrs, starband grad > > > > I'm hoping a few of you will take a look at my son's photos (Our Plagio Babies - C). His are at the end... " Cade M " . We have our weekly appointment at Cranial Tech on Wednesday and it will be our last one if we don't decide to proceed with a second DOC Band. He's outgrown the first one in 7 weeks. We think his head looks great...but want to feel OK about stopping where we are. His mid-face asymmetry went from 10 to 4. Skull-base asymmetry went from 8 to 4. Cranial vault asymmetry only went from 17 to 10. (We're praying for single digits this week.) When they measured last week, we thought for sure his CV would be closer to normal range b/c it looks so good to us. We have mainly watched the back right side, where it looked so bad in the beginning -- and that looks really good (we think). But I think the area CT would like to see more improvement is left forehead. Honestly, we haven't paid much attention to that b/c the back side has had our full attention for so long! I know some people start their band with a CV number of 10, so I wonder if we're crazy for stopping there. We feel like the area that still needs improvement isn't obvious to someone not looking for a problem...but the numbers are throwing us for a loop. I'd appreciate a few comments on his pictures. > > > > Thanks. > > > > Jill > > Cade's mom (7 mo., DOC Band 6/18/09) > > Austin > > >
