Guest guest
I think that the research that is needed for NIH to accept the DS as standard WLS is being done by some of the DS surgeons in the country. this was talked about at the last ASBS conference. The research is tough because no way to do random clinical trials. , Settle > These reports of our peers being denied WLS are very disturbing. Guest guest
Excellent thought, Chris! I think that when I get home and am feeling up to it, I might scout out some of those " other " boards for people who have not yet chosen a surgery and then offer them the duodenal switch web site for more information. All it takes is a " Have you considered this other option? " It really could save someone from a terrible choice. (who just had 2 little bites of a brownie at 7 days post-op and does NOT apologize!) > Hi > My name is and I'm sort of new to this list. I do a lot of > reading.
