I just go to a grocery store or bed, bath and beyond (for a slightly more

durable one) for my cheese slicer and each one I've bought has been just fine.

I don't really see a need to buy a really expensive cheese slicer or even to buy

online (to me it seems ridiculous to pay for shipping if you have the ability to

shop locally). Heh...I've got enough expensive gadgets that I use (and love, of

course) with this diet. :)

LOL! My problem is that I have a bunch of the cheaper ones cluttering up

the drawers which I just can't bring myself to throw out because it might

be useful some day. Even when it's gotten dull and can't be sharpened, or

the wire has broken and can't be replaced.

That's why I succumbed to the Cutco knife. I figure it'll outlast

me.
