Thanks pink Joyce I will get a diaper bag..one thing we do have here is a dollar store. LOL and I will try the Poise liners...they have to be more comfortable then kotex! Joyce R

i use the poise liners, they are more comfortable for me than Kotex

as for bringing up junk when you cough, i would discuss this with your doctor

i didn't know it at the time, but i think the NAC is what helped eliminate the junk

so talk to your doctor about it

sometimes i choke when eating

sometimes i have trouble just swallowing saliva

this is all new for me

the dollar store has either plastic diaper bags or poopie bags, i use them for the used poise liners

Joyce- I didn't have stress incontinence until I was dx with pf...I wonder if there is a connection? For some reason I am coughing a lot more too and bringing up junk which I never did before. I coughed all thru the movie. I thought the people in the movie were going to kick me out. I also have problems with eating and coughing. I choke some times because I am eating and swallowing and suddenly cough.

I went to my doctor about the incontinence and she said that she didn't recommend those medications because the side effects were not good. She said to wear a Kotex and all I thought was ..here I have finally been liberated from having a period and I'm back to wearing a Kotex..not just a week but every day! Joyce Rudy AZ birds

is it the decrease in prednisone?

Pink Joyce,It is usually the coughing and of course that is part of the whole 'wonderful part of womanhood' we all get sold, but apparently it is made worse by lack of oxygen, guessing it has something to do with nerve endings as mine got worse when my breathing worsened and the neuropathy from the diabetes started to show up. Beth, I know we had talked about this once before, I wish I had more info but it was something a doctor told my mom. I know my problem was more with standing up and not being able to hold my urine. That has improved a lot thank god but still happens.
