Guest guest
Dear , I am not saying that how I eat is right but, I eat ALOT of sugar everyday. I have lost 77% of my excess weight in 6 months and never have been on a plateau. I think you have to see how your own body reacts and go from there. I started out at a lower BMI than most (and was told that I would probably lose slower, which hasn't been the case) and my weight has been coming off,, no problem even with all the sugar, ice cream, candy and cookies that I consume. I also eat alot of fat, carbs and all types of food too. My protein intake easily exceeds 85-90 grams a day so nutritionally speaking, I am doing well. When I eat ice cream I have a regular size cone for example. I never wanted to make myself crazy if I wanted to have some candy. On the otherhand, I think I eat too much sugar in general and I should try to cut back just a little. I bought a large bag of mini Snickers bars (4 lbs.) for Halloween and ended up eating the whole bag in a week. I also lost 3 pounds that week, go figure? My labs are fine so maybe I just need to consider myself one of the lucky ones? I don't really know what the answer is. Good luck to you.
