Others who have were told that no substitutions could be made, ex: a gluten-free communion host could *not* be used due to church rules. It seemed a shame, because there is a company that makes a gluten and casein free communion host. If I remember correctly, the priest said they could just take the wine. Anyone else out there remember this thread can correct me if I'm wrong. This is what I remember. Good luck..
