Guest guest
Hi all, Just wanted you all to know that the idea of pursed lip breathing is a fine concept which I used in my younger years practicing yoga, etc. But about 15 years ago I managed to paralyze my left diaphragm - no rhyme or reason - just like that my week long hikes into the mountains was brought to an abrupt halt. But now having IPF when this practice could really be of use to me, it offers little or no benefit due to the paralysis. Has anyone else heard of someone in my situation and what they did to overcome it? Been to several Pulmonary Rehab Centers and to date no one has offered a solution.
