Look up the Zevex, website, www.zevex.com , they have a pump called

the enteralite.

This pump wasnt available in Australia, until we got ours, so we had

to get a medical company to import it etc.

Im not sure of the exact weight ??500gms it has no air detector, so

can go upside down, there is a backpack that it fits into, or a

small carry bag.

Liam has never liked wearing it on his back but will if pushed, I

think its just something they have to get use to. Its quite easy to

carry around or hang on a stoller(pushchair).

The bags are 500mls, if Liam is wearing his we only put 200mls at a

time in to keep the weight down and they are soft and spill proof.

Hope this helps

since I have and any experience of pumps. When he is well he goes to

nursery. Having learnt at last to walk at near 3 years, I want to

try and help him stay mobile. Here in japan, pump fed children are

kept near to a drip stand and on a bed basically. I don't want that

and want to find a pump that helps him stay as mobile as possible.

670 grams. The only feeding containers are 650 ml. They are a hard

cylindrical shape, need gravity to work properly and don't fit well

into any type of bag. They are the same size as the pump itself and

with the weather here being so humid in summer I can only really put

around 100 ml in at once anyway.

turned on side, upside down!? Could you send details, or a photo if

at all possible?

of some kind without 'flow error' coming up all the time, or some

kind of contraption to push around. I'd like to get the pump onto

back but he only weighs 18 pounds and so the pump alone is

about 8% of his body weight. What age did you start having children

carry the pumps around by themselves?

the still rather limited mindset in terms of paediatric medicine,

I'm a bit isolated when it comes to trying to get a sick child to

lead as regular a lifestyle as possible. Would really appreciated

any info.

Debi,

I will check my supply boxes over here. Max used to use the

Kangaroo Pet pump and I may have some 500ml bags around. Also, we

had a portable carrier for it that I don't think we returned to the

company, by mistake, of course. I just could not find it when they

came to pick up the pump.

If I find the stuff and you want it, I would be happy to ship it to

you. You can get several uses out of one bag as long as you wash it

out well after each use. Of course, this is not recommended, but

with a limited supply, you would have no choice.
