Guest guest
Hi , i have met Dr Quinn. She is very nice. She assisted Dr Herron in my surgery, along with Dr Pomp. She also visited me in the hospital over the weekend as it was her turn to cover. She put me through 3 leak tests because I had a clot in my stomach in the first one and the liquid did not pass through. When I mentioned it to Dr Herron on Monday about the 3 tests, he just grinned and said she was super particular about things. I got a seperate bill for the anesthesiolgist. It was $4200.00. They said I was to pay the whole thing to them and my insurance would reimburse me for the portion they cover. I have not sent the money yet, because I want to double check with my insurance first. My coverage was 80/20 because I went out of network, which I knew. I just did not know I would pay a hunk like that up front and wait for money afterwards. The hospital just billed me for the difference which was a little less than $2000.00. Radiology was seperate also, but it was just $150.00. I am wiaint for the biggy...the doctor bill. Hope this helps. SheriGr Post-op 9/28/01 Dr Herron, NYC
