I just got one for my mom the other day. It's a Hamilton Beach that I bought at

We used it tonight for the first time, and it seems to be a really nice cooker.

I was influenced by the reviews at http://www.consumersearch.com/slow-cookers ,

which said it was the best basic slow cooker.
