Guest guest
I just found this site while browsing around. It is a calculation formula for " ideal body weight " at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Thought others might be interested... http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/001938.htm I'm not sure what to think of it. According to them I have a large frame (d'oh). That combined with my height equals an ideal body weight of 121 lbs (110 if my frame is medium)!! Yikes!!! It's that frame thing...according to the above page, using a measurement of my wrist, I have a large frame. Using the MetLife Tables, I have a small frame. They use a measurement of the two prominent " bones " on either side of your elbow. http://www.metlife.com/Lifeadvice/Tools/Heightnweight/ MetLife says I should be between 108-121 lbs. ...and they're counting clothing! LOL!!! All I can say is if I ever get anywhere near 121 lbs, everyone I know will be running after me with cheeseburgers! HAHA! But it's nice to dream a little dream... I'm up waaay too late. -
