Janelle,

What you described doesn't sound like a night terror, it sounds like

a seizure. I would have him checked out by a pediatric neurologist

to be sure. My daughter used to have times where she would stare off

for several minutes into space, get a blank look on her face, and was

unresponsive to anything. This was enough to worry my pediatrician

and he referred me right away to ped. neurologist. With what you

described you shouldn't have a problem getting a referral. We had

these episodes for a long time until we went GFCF. We also did IVIG

to bring down her MBP brain autoantibodies. Knock on wood we haven't

had an episode in a long time.
