Today, I saw a new Gynocologist, female (I like going to a woman for that

stuff better). I mentioned to her nurse that I was getting wls in about a

month when she took my blood pressure and it was borderline up (which it has

been for a couple of years, but not bad enough for meds). She was

enthusiastic. She wrote it on my chart. The Dr. came in, read about it and

was also enthusiastic! Neither of them had heard of DS, but they completely

supported my decision to have the surgery - it made me feel so good! :-)

I wrote my letter to work today telling them I had to have surgery, thanks

a for telling me how to " word " it, I used your exact words.....so

tomorrow the boss and his wife will get it. Keep your fingers crossed for me

that they are ok with it. I am not telling them it is for DS, just what

a said, it is for gall bladder and some other stuff - major abdominal

surgery.
