Kat,Thanks. My hair tends to be really oily, even at my age. I do have some really natural stuff, but thought the eggs were interesting. Might give it a go and see. I have rather thick longish hair so how many eggs would I need?AmeliaTo: BTVC-SCD Sent: Fri, April 9, 2010

I tend to use the yolk mostly, as the egg whites tend to run off my head pretty quickly. Just massage the yolk into your scalp and hair then rinse fully. I put about 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar in a cup of warm water and pour that over as much hair as I can. Then rinse with water. The vinegar tends to just make your hair soft and shiny, not dry. I think if you went from shampoo and conditioner to shampoo and vinegar, the shampoo might be too drying?

I've been using a mix of olive oil and castor oil to clean my face, and my skin looks good. I've read that the olive oil is the softener or conditioner, while the castor oil acts as the cleanser, and depending on the oiliness of your face, proportion your mix accordingly. I've been making about a 50/50 mix, with a few drops of various essential oils, and put it on my dry face. I then adding hot water and emulsify the oil on my face (this is supposed to be the real cleansing step), rinse, and wipe off with a hot washcloth.
