well, I'll just say our helmet is about $2800 and our insurance is acting like they will pay ZERO PERCENT. I think you have to go into it expecting that; if we get anything back, it'll be a blessing-- Best wishes--

i have read some stuff online but i'd like someone who's been thru this to help me out please!!! i am new to this board and i have made an appt for my son for monday morning. i called bcbs yesterday just to see what they would cover adn she told me $600 MAX!!! i find that appalling. i was just curious if anyone with this insurance actually got them to approve more than the $600.also, if you pay upfront don't they give you some kind of discount? what is the actual price and then what would the discount price be??thanks for any help with this matter!-sarah

when we were debating whether or not to get the helmet, our insurance said they
