When I contacted Blue Diamond about their Almond Breeze, they also sent me

information on their Nut-thins. They have a nice chart that explains all the

ingredients. Under natural butter flavor it says, " Natural flavor distilled

from real buttermilk. Milk sugars and proteins are distilled. Lactose-free.

Uses water as a base; no grain alcohol. " Also, in explaining why it was not

vegan, it says " Nut-Thins are lactose-free but not dairy-free. " I was going

to contact Blue Diamond to see if the milk proteins being distilled meant

they are casein free, but my son didn't like the cracker so there was no

point. They also warn that nut-thins are produced at a facility that also

produces wheat products and was, therefore, subject the cross-contamination.
