Guest guest
Cara, You are most certainly doing all you can for . You should be proud of your efforts. It will all pay off in the longrun - I promise! I do know what it is like to deal with a doctor who does not seem to want to listen. You have to just try to slowly, gently educate him and hope that he follows along. One way to try is to get the DVD from the last convention. It is free to doctors. Hopefully he will watch it, especially if you tell him exactly where you want him to focus. The other thing that will help in due time is the guidebook that , et al, is working on. It is a true labor of love for her and the benefits to our kids are just too many to list. Please keep on doing what you are doing. You are a great mom and will be appreciative of everything, even if he does not LIKE what you are doing at any given time. Max is always thanking us now, even when he gives himself his shots and they hurt and he wishes he did not have to take them anymore. We have told him he can stop if he wants, that he is old enough to make these decisions, or at least have a say in them, but he chooses to continue. We have weighed the pros and cons and he wants to stick with it. Pat yourself on the back, read a good book and eat some chocolate. You deserve it!
