They aren't about Growth disorders but they are about special needs kids and disabilities. From The Heart- On Being the Mother of a Child with Special Needs edited by Jayne D.B. Marsh Nine mothers share stories & experiences of their children with various diabilities A Special Kind of Love- For those who love children with special needs by titus Osborn and Janet Lynn I am currently reading-You Will Dream New Dreams- Inspiring Personal Stories by Parents of Children With DIsabilites compiled by Stanley D. Klein, Ph.D. & Kim Schive This book reminds me of the " Chicken Soup " books.
