Guest guest
Hi all Well, my roller coaster has started to slow down, and I'm re-planning my upcoming surgery in my mind, I need to visualise to get me through the big events. Since my Mum will be have major surgery herself, on 24 October 2001, with a hospital stay of 7-10 days, she wont be able to be my physical support after surgery as planned. My WLS will be an open surgery - with my papers from the Surgeon saying that my hospital stay will be 8-10 days, now a good thing as I won't have Mum at home to rely on and I will need to be more self sufficient once I get home. How were you all feeling about 8-10 days after surgery, able to cope on your own or still heavily reliant on assistance at this point??? I really want to come home to my own house, but will stay with good friends if it is necessary.
