Hi Leah, I am so happy for you. How are you doing so far? I am the

one asking about Dr. Booth. I had VBG in '95 and want to be revised

to BPD/DS. I am glad that Dr. Booth has so many DS procedures under

his belt. I was told by his office that he will do a revision. When I

had my VBG I had a bad experience with the hospital. I went to

Houston, TX and they were some very rude people there. You would

think that considering when a procedure for Obesity is done they

would be understanding when a 370 LB, 5'2 " person can't just jump out

of bed quickly. I walked from ICU to my regular room so it wasn't

that I did not want to move, I just couldn't do it quickly due to my

size and insision. There is too much to go into, but, I am nervous

about being treated poorly again. Tell me how was the hospital staff?

Were they understanding and patient? Were you made to feel ashamed

because you were having " Fat Surgery " ? How far did you have to travel

to Dr. Booth? How many trips from your first consalt to your surgery

did you have to make? I will have a 4 hour drive one way. Did you get

an approval the first time with your insurance? Also, how is the

staff at LifeShape? Anything else you think I might want to know,

please feel free to share.
