Guest guest
Hey Pat I was thinking, do you think your non RSS granddaughter is ADHD? If not, why don't you do some research (I know you have TONS of time LOL) on sleep rhythms and cycles. A lot of research right now is looking into the fact that some people (or kids) need a ton more sleep to function than others. Your granddaughter could be getting such an incredibly sound sleep at night that she just doesn't need any more sleep. Perfectly natural. You've probably read the stories about looking into this with teenagers and finding school should start around 11 a.m. because the teens natural rhythms are so different? Also, when I had Adam at one of his 2 sleep studies, I spent the night talking to the technician and he was working on his own study. There is research indicating that a high percentage of kids that are diagnosed ADHD are inaccurately diagnosed. They actually have various sleep disorders that is causing the hyper activity during the day. Something to think about and if you want to argue the point, you might research into that area. Anyway, hope you are all well!!! Take care Debby
