Xevex Infinity pump - can anyone help?

I'd like to thank everyone who told me about the Xevex pumps. The any direction

and light weight appear great for mobility. More crucial for us now is that you

can put blenderized food through them and given ' intolerance of proteins,

this is key for him and quite urgent given his currently weak state.

Now for the BIG problem. I've been in touch with Zevex in the US and also their

distributor in the UK. However although they are supposedly an international

company, they won't sell me a pump in Japan until December 2007 since they don't

have a distributor. They suggested I try and get one from a US home care

provider. I'm not sure how to go about that. Deregulation in Japan means that

you can now import medical equipment as an individual so this end is not a

problem. I know Meribeth said they are now using the Infinity pump and someone

on the list helped develop it. I would really like to get hold of an Infinity

pump and am prepared to pay whatever I have to. Could anyone suggest an

outlet/solution?
