Guest guest
* I don't know the GFCF status of these , but I do know the cross contamination issues at Mcs are very high and I would make your own safe GFCF breakfast and bring it - is that possible? If your little one wants only McD's you can go ahead of time to McDs and pick up clean wrappers to wrap her meal in so she feels she is eating it. Guest guest
The ingredients change quick but go to www.mcdonalds.com it has the ingredient list for their products-I believe gfcfdiet.com has a sction on mcdonalds too. Guest guest
I'm sure they add milk to their eggs & I believe their hashbrowns are OK, but after they fry them in contaminated oil they aren't.
Guest guest
Hi Kathie, There is a list of gfcf Mc's items on the gfcfdiet acceptable list. Tks, Tana Help please! It appears that I will have to have breakfast at the Golden Arches in the next few days with my three year old HFA son. I know that fries and patty (no bun) are OK, but what about breakfast? I presume that 1) hashbrowns, 2) eggs and 3) sausage) may be OK. I'm away from my book, so I cannot check. Anyone know offhand? F? Thanks, Kathie
Guest guest
I'm a bit late on this, but the eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon are okay. Guest guest
The hashbrowns are safe - if cooked in separate oil from any nuggets (ask the manager) - the bacon is safe - if you are not worried about nitrates - the scrambled eggs have milk in them and I think the other eggs are cooked in butter - so I avoid those. My son loves hard boiled eggs so we bring those with us for him. Hope that helps. Guest guest
Please check their website for an ingredient list. The eggs do NOT have any milk added. They do use a cooking spray of soybean oil. I have personally spoke with them about the eggs, the last time being less than 2 months ago. I spoke to a dietician at the corporate office. Guest guest
Wendi - I just checked Mc's web site and found this: Sausage Scrambled Egg mix Pre-cooked scrambled eggs [whole eggs, nonfat milk, soybean oil, modified food starch, salt black pepper extract, xanthan gum, citric acid, natural (dairy source) and artificial butter flavor (clarified butter oil, lipolyzed butter oil, artificial flavor, annatto)], pre- cooked sausage [pork, water salt, dextrose, spices, corn syrup solids, sugar, monosodium glutamate, BHA, propyl gallate, citric acid (to protect flavor), contains less than 2% or less tricalcium phosphate (anticaking agent)], vegetables [tomatoes, green chilies, onions, calcium chloride, citric acid] SO - I guess if the eggs are not scrambled and are cooked with a soybean oil cooking spray they will be ok, bit I would stay away from the Scrambled Eggs. Guest guest
When I spoke to them, they told me that this mixture is what they use in the Breakfast Burritos only. Scrambled eggs are just eggs and oil. Guest guest
Thanks Wendi - I guess that just goes to show that you have to keep asking the people in your local Mc's about their practices just to be sure. Thanks again.
