Nine months was when we began to see unsettling changes in our daughter

(now 3 1/2 yrs). This change occurred following her HepB vaccine. The

DAN! dr told us to immediately stop further vaccinations and to begin

GFCF diet immediately. He based this decision on a sudden change in

attentiveness, change in bowel habits, and results from Great Smokies

stool analysis. Later tests indicate that she is heavy metal poisoned

with early stage autoimmune like our two sons (7 yrs with HFA, and 6 yrs

with hearing loss).

lisa's responsiveness improved pretty quickly on the GFCF+ diet, and

her bowels improved somewhat after 6 months. She appears NT and very

bright at this time. We know that her bowel problem won't completely

normalize until we chelate her for heavy metals, but that is not

financially possible right now.

We feel so very blessed that we did a little testing, stopped

vaccinations before causing additional damage, and then began the diet

with her. I think that she may very well have developed PDD like her

oldest brother without the steps we took.

Best wishes,

Subject: 9 month old baby??

Hi, I don't post often here but do try to keep up

with this list as i have a son who has been on the diet for 2 yrs

now----with great success, I might add! Anyway, my question is about my

niece. She is 9 months old and I'm concerned

about her. Maybe I'm just alittle paranoid because of my own son, but

she is very unresponsive, very rarely smiles, doesn't babble often or

much. Put her on the infant swing at the park---nothing---no smile,

just a

blank stare. But she is still so young....

i would like to suggest to my sister tryng a

gf/cf formula if there is one.....what do you

think? Any feedback is appreciated. thanks

I agree with . My youngest was just 6 months old when she acquired the

symptoms. EVERYONE thought I was overreacting because I have two more on the

spectrum who had already been diagnosed. Even our early intervention

evaluators were not convinced at 12mo, but I persisted every 3mo for another

evaluation until THEY felt she qualified. Geez, you'd think they would

consider the genetic circumstances and admit her on that benefit of the

doubt. Now it's clear to everyone that she has issues. (She's 27 mo.,

GF/CF, and receiving lots of therapies)

Absolutely, suggest intervention on the Baby's behalf.
