Guest guest
Tara, My life has been Physical Therapy for the past year so I have been living with E Stims. I was looking into the AB Flex and the biggest drawback with these " commercial " machines is that the pads last about 3 weeks before they wear out. The company offers absolutely horrible service as well. Whenever I buy anything anymore, I check it out on a site called epinions.com. They have a lot of consumer ratings and you can really get a sense of how well a product is built and how responsive the manufacturer is. I just checked with my doctors office last week and my insurance has actually authorized the rental of an E Stim... Electronic Stimulator as part of my recovery. The " good " machines are about $3000 bucks and they will rent it for me as long as my doctor deems necessary. Try checking it out with his orthopedist. Oh, they are not only used for strengthing the muscles, but are used for reduction of inflamation as well as pain control. He can make a case for it on all 3 levels. Best of luck, Theresa > Hello!
