Lynn,I am sorry that you are having so much trouble finding vitamins. Here is a link to all SCD specific vitamins that Freedas Vitamins has to offer. http://www.freedavitamins.com/index.php?p=catalog & parent=18 & pg=1 There have other supplements that are legal as well, but aren't in the above list because they are used by the more general population, not just SCDers.I too am having adrenal problems. The supplement that my doctor gave me to support my adrenals has :Magnesium (glycinate) 33.3 mg C (ascorbic acid) 166.6 mg Calcium (citrate)

33.3 mg L-Carnitine 3.33 mg E (d-alpha tocopherol succinate) alpha TE 111% 13.3 mg Iodine (kelp) 0.03 mg Zinc (picolinate) 3.3 mg B6 (pyridoxine HCl) 10 mg Selenium (methionine) 16.6 mcg B3 (Niacin) NE 208% 33.3 mg A (acetate) RE 1.25% 10 mcg Beta Carotene 1.66 mg B1 (Thiamine mononitrate) 3.33 mg B2 (riboflavin) 6.6 mg Copper (chelate) 160 mcg Folic Acid 33.3 mcg Lecithin (Choline 16.6 mg, Inositol 16.6

mg) 72.3 mg Pantothenic Acid (calcium pantothenate) 66.6 mg Lysine 10 mg Methionine 10 mg Grape Seed Extract 6.6 mg B12 (cyanocobalamin) 6.66 mcg Cabbage Leaf 6.6 mg Chamomile Flower 6.6 mg Dandelion Leaf 6.6 mg Hops Powder 6.6 mg Lime Blossom 6.6 mg Marshmallow Root 6.6 mg Passion Flower powder 6.6 mg Skullcap .33 mg Molybdenum 6.66 mcg Tyrosine

3.33 mg 5-HTP 3.33 mg Vanadium 3.33 mcg Iron .33 mg Chromium (polynicotinate) 16.6 mcg Biotin 16.6 mcg I live in the UK and am not sure this would be available in the US. It is called Adrenal Max. Be warned that the Niacin (B3) could cause flushing (skin turns red and could itch). It is a normal response and should go away after a continued use. I'm not trying to be your doctor here, just giving you an example of what was recommended for me.AmeliaTo: BTVC-SCD Sent: Wed, May 12, 2010 5:23:03 PMSubject: leagal vitamins and Adrenals?

TRied to find legal vites at the health food store

and online. Looked at the Freeda's and it said in a base

of 3 items one was inositol I think.

Isnt that illegal?

Wish this wasnt confusing (having trouble today)

Bought a B complex of Solgar that

veg. cellulose and microcrystaline cellulose, so think it is legal.

Found needed extra nutrients for adrenals

does anyone have suggestions that help? Using biotin,B5 and C.

Used to use licorice, and since cortisol is low they

prescribed that.

Thank you

be well

Lynn D
