Guest guest Posted March 28, 2005 Report Share Posted March 28, 2005 Im not sure the % of our kids on proton pump inhibitors or zantac, but these drugs stop the production or neutralize the acid in the stomach. The test below would probably not have a result, in this case. Im sure that stomach acid is important to digestion, but the damage that acid can cause, not to mention the pain, if a child has reflux has to be my first priority.
