Guest guest
Cristina, It sounds like we are on the same supps! I haven't started CLO, but plan to in the near future. Right now I am slowly intro. supps to treat yeast. It is so hard to be patient. I have two others waiting their turn on the shelf to be introduced! Anyway, thanks for answering. Guest guest
hi Jeanne, has taken extra K since she was about a year old. I was given a rx for it so I can't give much advice there, but we used to have to crush it up and put it in her peaches after she took enzymes( she takes her enzymes in peaches) or melt it in hot tap water and add the whole mess to another med. She wouldn't take it by itself and I don't think that they make it as a chewable. For the multi she used to take half a Flintstones chewable daily. Now she takes " yummi bears " which I found in the health food store. The are little gummy bear vitamins. They taste good too! (yes I had to try them, What? I was curious!) Mom of the Queen of the Universe, 5 with CF (I've been told that this makes me the Queen Mum) Vitamins Hello everyone, Shaelin had his PICC line removed finally. We spent 1 week in the hospital and the other 2 1/2 weeks home with IV antibiotics. He did well and seems fine for the moment. We have a follow-up with ENT next week as his problem is mostly in his sinuses verses his lungs. His stools remained great though this with my continuing the probiotic Flora Bears. We had our annual follow-up with the nutritionist last week and weight-wise, Shaelin is doing great. He is between the 50th to 75% (he was only in the 3rd percentile when we got him as a foster child at 6 months!). She recommended however that in addition to ADEK, he should receive weekly additional vitamin K along with a children's multiple vitamin 3x/week. Are any of you doing this and if so, is there a particular vitamin which is better than others. It would need to be chewable as he is only 2 1/2. Thanks in advance for your advice.
