Hi ,

I'm afraid that I don't have any advice with the Periactin since

it didn't work out for us (terrible side effects).

As to Autumn's height, yes it is small for a one year old but

that's just the way our kids are made. More importantly is what is

her weight to height ratio?

The CDC has many growth charts and the good news is that we don't

need a special RSS chart for weight to height since it has nothing

to do with age.

I went ahead and plotted Autumn and she's right at the 3rd

percentile weight for height. That's not too bad! I believe that

Dr. H had said at the convention last summer that she doesn't like

to see RSS kids go above the 25th percentile weight for height

(Someone correct me if I'm wrong here!) for insulin resistance

issues. So although she's small and could stand to gain more weight

at least she's on the charts.

Here's a link to the CDC growth charts

www.cdc.gov/growthcharts/

Hope this helps some!
