Most MO people already have gallbladders that are in bad shape. You

could discuss your concern with Rabkin. The problem is that if it has

to be removed later, it means another surgery. The Appendix is a

similar issue.

Hi -

Another reason why Dr. Rabkin removes the Gallbladder

and Appendix is because if you have any post-op

problems/complications, these two items are

automatically ruled out and precious time is not

wasted or identifing the problem.
