I was always made to sit at the table until my plate was clean and when I was

growing up we were forced to eat everything in the cafeteria at school or we

couldn't go outside to recess. But I don't have trouble when we go out. I

assume going into a restaurant that I can eat 1/2 a meal and I just take the

other half home. Since I'm taking it home and not wasting it, I find I can

quit when I'm full. At home I use a smaller plate but have a tendency to

still fill it too full. Then I try to eat it all. I know it doesn't make

sense, but I'll push the plate back and say I'm done, but if we're still at

the table I tend to pick at my food and try to finish my plate. Ugh! This

makes me so mad. I don't way overeat and don't do it all the time, but it

makes me mad at myself when I do. Oh well, I guess I'm normal.

Some days I do better than others...but for some reason we sseem to think we

cant ever have that food again...LOL I finally decided to let it go and that

has helped. I am getting busy with other things and even forget to eat at

times...but my stomach reminds me...
