I am at day 10 post op and have not taken any pain meds today, I am

just planning on taking one before bed to help with the discomfort and

sleep better. The past few days I have just been going a little

longer and longer in between doses and seeing if I am in pain. If you

start feeling pain, get back on your meds. You don't want to push

yourself to hard. You do want to take all your antibiotics though and

if you're taking steriods finish off the pack as instructed.

Try taking a half dose, and see how you do. If that works for you, try

leaving off a dose. But if something starts to hurt, get right back on

top of it.

And I am assuming here that we are talking about PAIN meds and not

ANTIBIOTICS. Take every single dose of the antibiotics, on schedule,

until you've finished the course! That's importnat.

You might be thinking of Lialda. I don't know what you have but it is made for UC but also works for Crohns.
