Guest guest
Hello, Thanks na birthday was great. She brought home the school birthday bear and had us put it at the table when we sang Happy Birthday to her. She is too funny. She got many gifts, some i put in the cellar to save for the year to come. She has 12 aunts and uncles between us and each one tries to out do the other. It bad when her aunt out does Santa Claus. She gets all excited then nervous so under the table she went when everyone came in the same room. I told them all next year savings bonds please our apartment doesn't fit everything. We went to her annual appointment. She is now 27lbs and 34.75 inches. Standing up was 34 but i like the laying down one better. Her pedi said she has won a conley gold medal for gaining 4.5lbs in a year. She has only grown over an inch and a half. But some better than none. We go back to the endo in February. Hopefully then we can begin our next endevour. He wants us to try stopping the Pedisure and see if she can gain with out it. I'm really nervous because that is the one thing i can get her to have at least twice a day. I will try it for a while but if it doesn't work then what? Has any one else had to take theier kid off pedisure? We were giving it to avoid a feeding tube. So far it has worked. Marcy na mom 27lb yes!!! 34.75inches and growing!!! She is 26.5 lbs and 33.68 inches ( i hope more we go on the 4th) She was at 22lbs forever it seemed. Since birth she was feed by syringe the first months then bottle, we changed her fomula every few months because or reflux. They told me her dad was small she would be but everytime we went to the doctors they would say when she turns 4 we need to look at taking out the tonsils because they are enlarged. I thought could that be why daughter gags and would not but anything near her mouth. finally one of the doctors in the practice sent us to see Dr. Cunningham. We had to wait 3-4 months to see him then when we did he took xrays blood and said these need to come out, so i figured we would have to wait another 4 months but with in a week they were out. He had her on an Iv the whole time so incase she did have RS her levels would be fine. he talked to her. I can not say enough for this man, he explained everthing in details what would happen held my hand called the house to see how she was doing. I know there are many good doctors and many bad like the one that told me don't worry she will just be small then on her second birthday say i think some thing is wrong here...... Briggs wrote: Hi Marcy, You know since we were supposed to do that and didn't because of her heart surgery she has not been back to the ENT and in fact he has now retired. So I know have to get her file from him and the next ear infection I'm requesting she gets a referral for a new ENT and at that point hopefully they will be able to see about her adnoids. When she was 4 months old the ENT had to have her x-rayed because she was so small he couldn't see. How old is na? The ENT only recommed have her adnoids out and tubes in, nothing with her tonsils.
