Problem with The Aide... Ugh!!!

I'm having a problem with Olivia's aide. One of her main duties

is to see that Olivia snacks every hour. Well for the last couple

of weeks Olivia's coming home with almost all of her lunch and

snacks still in her bag.

Today for example I sent:

9 rice crackers

10 small pretzel sticks

1 granola bar

(these were in her snack bag)

and

1 slice of bread PB & J sandwich

1/2 an apple

2 cookies

From this all she ate today was 1/2 of the sandwich and a juice box.

I always pack way too much just to make sure that there is enough

food but this is getting a little ridiculous!

Being that it's kindergarten they do have 2 snack breaks any way

and then Olivia will sit for her extra snacks.

Her aide said that Olivia didn't want to eat today and just

accepted a non-eating day. Olivia was very much beside herself when

I picked her up (she goes full days) and couldn't even manage her

coat. She fell asleep the second I put her in the carseat! I

couldn't wake her when we got home and decided (against my better

judgement) to let her nap for a while. When she woke up she was

starving!!

We are very blessed that she truly is an eater. She ate an entire

package of Instant Porridge (oatmeal). Then an hour later ate 5

asparagus spears, 3 helpings of noodles (total of one large scoop)

and 1/4 of a fillet of salmon. The girl can EAT!! It still amazes

me that she doesn't have any significant weight gain!!

How do I broach this with the aide properly??? Olivia has to eat,

period, end of story. I'd like some suggestions for a reward system

I can impliment at the school for when Olivia eats a snack... Maybe

that would help??

I don't want to get on the aids case but Olivia can't be going

hypo-g like that. I should leave some gel at the school also I

guess.

Anyway thanks for listening, sorry this got so long!
