Guest guest
Hi Jody, The following two articles (one page each) by Dr Cowan will perhaps best address your comments and concerns about the reflux issue (GERD) and proton pump inhibitors or Zantac. Additionally, Cowan makes an interesting comment about GH and how it helps the intestinal track and he also addresses delayed gastric emptying and diabetes issues in one of the articles. http://www.westonaprice.org/askdoctor/gastroparesis.html http://www.westonaprice.org/askdoctor/gerd.html Based on Cowan's comments in these articles and the use of his diet, then I would come to the conclusion that the Baking Soda Acid test and diet would be appropriate and effective for anyone. Naturally this is something to first review with your doctor.
